6063-T5 / T6 Frame Profiles

Gate frames are extruded from 6063 aluminum billet. Surface Finishing Lines

Two finishing lines run in-house. Powder coating: AkzoNobel Interpon D1036 polyester, 60-80 um dry film, cured at 200 C for 10 minutes; salt spray 1,000 h per ISO 9227 with no blistering. PVDF (for coastal projects within 500 m of the sea): 2-coat fluoropolymer, 25-35 um, salt spray 3,000 h. Adjustment and Waterproofing Points

When Aluminum Is the Wrong Choice

Aluminum loses on two scenarios. First, high-security perimeters that must resist sustained tool attack – a 3 mm steel bar gate delays cutting roughly 3x longer than a slat aluminum leaf; for those perimeters the security door and gate range is the correct product. Second, heritage restorations that require forged ornament, where wrought iron or cast aluminum inserts are the only acceptable look. For every other residential and community driveway, weight and corrosion math favor aluminum: a 4.5 m slat leaf at 10 kg/m2 lets a 600 kg motor do the work a 1,500 kg unit would do on iron, and the coating outlasts two repaint cycles of steel.
