Rogenilan Windows and Doors Manufacturer in China: Aluminium Windows and Doors Specs and Pricing

Rogenilan windows and doors system installed on a modern residential villa in China - thermally broken aluminium frames with double glazing
Rogenilan windows and doors package on a villa project: thermally broken aluminium casement windows, sliding patio door and glazed entrance door from a single extrusion platform.

Rogenilan windows and doors is the aluminium fenestration platform built by ROGENILAN in Foshan, Guangdong: one extrusion system covering casement windows, sliding windows, sliding doors, folding doors and entrance doors that share the same profile geometry, thermal break strip, gasket section and hardware groove. This page sets out the measurable data behind that platform – profile wall thickness, polyamide strip width, U-values, air/water/wind test classes, acoustic Rw figures, FOB price bands, MOQ and lead time – so a buyer can compare a full windows-and-doors package on numbers instead of adjectives.

1. System Scope: What the Rogenilan Windows and Doors Platform Covers

The platform is organised around four extruded profile families. All four share a 20 mm or 24 mm polyamide thermal break, the same 14 mm European hardware groove, and a common EPDM gasket section, which means a single project can mix windows and doors without changing the installer’s tooling, the glazing bead stock or the spare-parts list. Buyers sourcing an aluminium windows and doors package from one plant also avoid the colour-drift problem that appears when windows and doors are split between two factories.

Product families on the same platform

Family Profile depth Typical opening Where it is used Shared components
Casement / awning window 60 – 80 mm Side hung, top hung Bedrooms, living rooms, facades Frame, sash, 20 mm PA66GF25 strip
Sliding window 80 – 120 mm 2 / 3 / 4 track Balconies, corridors, service areas Track insert, brush seal, roller
Sliding / lift-and-slide door 120 – 190 mm 2 to 6 panels Patios, garden interfaces Track, carriage set, stainless rail
Folding door 70 – 90 mm 2 to 8 panels Wide openings, indoor-outdoor Hinge set, top-hung roller
Entrance / French door 70 – 100 mm Single, double, with sidelight Main entry, terrace access Multipoint lock, threshold, hinge

Why one platform matters for a full-house order

For projects where the window opening pattern is fixed but the door format is not yet decided, the casement platform is documented in the casement windows factory specification, and the sliding door side in the aluminium sliding glass doors pricing page.

2. Aluminium Windows and Doors: Profile, Thermal Break and Glazing Data

Every quote for aluminium windows and doors starts with three numbers: alloy temper, wall thickness, and polyamide strip width. Those three decide the U-value, the wind-load class and the unit price more than any other variable.

Alloy, temper and wall thickness

Parameter Standard build Coastal / high-rise build Test standard
Alloy + temper 6063-T5 6063-T6 GB/T 5237.1
Tensile strength 160 MPa min 205 MPa min GB/T 228.1
Main profile wall 1.4 mm 1.8 – 2.2 mm GB/T 5237.1 / AAMA 303
Door stile wall 2.0 mm 2.5 mm GB/T 5237.1
Surface coating Powder 60 – 80 um PVDF 70 percent resin or anodising AA15 Qualicoat / GSB / AAMA 2605

A 1.4 mm profile is adequate for a two-storey house in a low-wind zone. Above six storeys, or inside 500 m of a coastline, move to 1.8 mm minimum and PVDF or AA15 anodising – salt-spray exposure at 1,000 hours in ASTM B117 is the acceptance threshold we test against.

Thermal break strip: material and width

The thermal break is a polyamide 66 strip reinforced with 25 percent glass fibre (PA66GF25). It is not PVC. PVC strips soften at the 200 degC curing temperature of powder coating and lose dimensional stability, which is why a PVC-broken frame cannot be re-coated. Width options and the resulting frame Uf value:

Strip width Uf of frame Suitable glazing Typical market
14.8 mm 3.2 – 3.6 W/m2K Single or standard double Southeast Asia, Middle East low-rise
20 mm 2.4 – 2.8 W/m2K 5 + 12A + 5 double Australia, New Zealand, Southern Europe
24 mm 2.0 – 2.4 W/m2K 5 + 12Ar + 5 Low-E France RE2020, US IECC zones 3 – 5
30 mm + foam fill 1.6 – 1.9 W/m2K Triple glazed, warm edge Germany, Passive House projects

Glazing build-ups and resulting whole-window U-values

Glazing build-up Ug SHGC Whole window Uw (1.5 x 1.5 m) Rw
5 mm single float 5.8 0.82 6.0 – 6.5 28 dB
5 + 12A + 5 2.7 0.72 2.9 – 3.2 31 dB
5 + 12Ar + 5 Low-E 1.7 0.38 2.0 – 2.3 33 dB
6 + 16Ar + 6 Low-E, warm edge 1.3 0.32 1.7 – 2.0 35 dB
5 + 12Ar + 5 + 12Ar + 5 triple 0.9 0.28 1.2 – 1.5 36 dB
6.38 laminated + 16Ar + 6 Low-E 1.3 0.30 1.7 – 1.9 40 – 42 dB

The glazing cavity is argon-filled to 90 percent minimum and sealed with a primary butyl layer plus a secondary polysulfide or structural silicone layer, tested to EN 1279-2 for gas leakage (less than 1 percent per year) and EN 1279-3 for moisture penetration (dew point below minus 40 degC). Sliding-series thermal performance is documented separately in the aluminium sliding window frame and performance data page.

3. Windows and Doors Package Pricing from China (FOB Foshan, USD)

Prices below are FOB Foshan/Shenzhen, quoted in US dollars per square metre of finished opening area, valid for a full 40HQ order with standard RAL colour and standard hardware. A complete windows and doors package for a 200 m2 house therefore lands between US$ 38,000 and US$ 62,000 before freight, depending on the series and glass specification.

Window price bands by series

Window series Thermal break Glazing Uw FOB USD / m2
80 sliding, non-thermal break None 5 + 9A + 5 5.5 – 6.0 85 – 120

French / double door 1.6 x 2.3 m Multipoint, flush threshold 480 – 950 / set

What moves the unit price

Freight and duty are usually 22 – 32 percent on top of the FOB value for a US West Coast delivery and 18 – 26 percent for Northern Europe. Quote requests should always be made on FOB plus a separately stated freight line, never on a blended CIF figure that hides the two components.

Entrance door pricing per set, including lock and threshold options, is broken down in the aluminium entry door price tables and U-value page; double-leaf formats are in the French doors manufacturer specification.

4. Guangdong Aluminium Alloy Doors and Windows: Supply Chain and Factory Data

The Guangdong aluminium alloy doors and windows cluster – Foshan Nanhai district in particular – holds the full upstream chain within about a 60 km radius: billet casting, extrusion and die making, powder coating, polyamide strip extrusion, insulated glass units, and hardware machining. That density is the reason a Foshan plant can hold a 25 – 35 day lead time on a custom colour while a plant that imports strip or IGUs needs 50 – 70 days.

Upstream chain and distance from the plant

Input Source location Distance Effect on lead time
Aluminium billet 6063 Foshan / Qingyuan 40 – 120 km 3 – 5 days to extruded profile
Extrusion dies Nanhai, Foshan 8 – 15 km New die in 7 – 10 days
PA66GF25 strip Foshan / Dongguan 20 – 80 km Stock item, 2 days
Powder coating AkzoNobel / Tiger, local line On site Same-day curing
Insulated glass unit Foshan 10 – 30 km 5 – 8 days
Hardware Foshan / Jinli, Zhaoqing 30 – 70 km 7 – 12 days

5. Soundproof Doors and Windows: Rw, STC and Build-up Data

Acoustic performance is requested on roughly one in four enquiries, usually for units next to a road, a rail line or an airport contour. The measured figure that matters is Rw (ISO 717-1, used in Europe, Australia and most of Asia) or STC (ASTM E413, used in North America); the two are numerically close but not interchangeable.

Measured acoustic data by configuration

Configuration Glass build-up Rw (ISO 717-1) STC (ASTM E413) Traffic noise reduction
Standard thermal break casement 5 + 12A + 5 31 dB 31 Cuts 70 dBA road to 39 dBA
Asymmetric double glazing 6 + 12A + 4 34 dB 34 Avoids coincidence dip at 2 kHz
Laminated acoustic 6.38 PVB + 12A + 6 38 dB 37 Cuts 70 dBA road to 32 dBA
Laminated + asymmetric 8.38 PVB + 16Ar + 6 41 dB 41 Rail corridor specification
Secondary glazing add-on Existing + 100 mm cavity + 8 45 – 48 dB 46 Heritage retrofit, no frame change

Where acoustic specifications fail on site

Field measurement protocol and further build-up data sit in the soundproof windows technical page.

6. Certification Map by Export Market

One frame cannot carry every mark, and a buyer should confirm which certificate the specific series has been tested under rather than accepting a factory-level ISO certificate as proof of product performance. The table below is the map we work to.

Market Product standard Label / mark required Tested values on the 70 series
European Union EN 14351-1 CE, System 3 or 4 Uw 2.0 W/m2K, Class 4 air, E900 water, C5 wind
United States AAMA/WDMA/CSA 101/I.S.2/A440 NFRC label, U-factor and SHGC U-factor 0.28, SHGC 0.23, DP 40
Florida HVHZ TAS 201 / 202 / 203 Miami-Dade NOA or Florida Product Approval Large missile impact, DP plus/minus 65 psf
Australia AS 2047 WERS rating, NATA test report Air 0.5 L/s.m2, water 450 Pa, Uw 3.1
New Zealand NZS 4211 BRANZ appraisal Air 0.5, water 450 Pa, wind 2.5 kPa
Middle East ASTM E330 / E283 / E331 Authority lab report (Dubai Central Lab) Wind 3.0 kPa, water 600 Pa
France EN 14351-1 + CSTB CE + Acotherm acoustic class Uw 1.6, Acotherm AC2, A4 E7B VA2

Test reports to request before signing

ISO 9001 certifies that a factory follows a documented process. It says nothing about the U-value, the water penetration class or the wind rating of a specific window. Always ask for the product type test alongside it.

7. Installation, Waterproofing and Commissioning

Roughly 70 percent of water-ingress complaints traced on export projects originate in the perimeter joint, not in the window. The sequence below is the one specified for our frames and is the reference for any warranty claim.

Installation sequence

Step Action Control value
1 Check the structural opening against the shop drawing Tolerance plus/minus 5 mm on width and height, 3 mm on diagonal
2 Set the sill with a pre-compressed sealing tape and a waterproof membrane upstand Membrane upstand minimum 100 mm at the jambs
3 Position the frame on packers, level and shim Frame out-of-square under 2 mm per metre
4 Fix with 304 stainless anchors Spacing under 500 mm, first anchor within 150 mm of a corner
5 Apply the three-layer perimeter seal Outer weather silicone, mid-cavity drainage, inner airtight membrane
6 Fit sashes, glazing beads and hardware Beads seated with a rubber mallet, no gaps at the splices
7 Water test before handover 2 L per minute per linear metre for 15 minutes, no internal leak

8. Project Data: 62-Unit Villa Development

The figures below come from a delivered project and are representative of a full-house windows-and-doors package rather than a window-only order.

Scope and configuration

Item Data
Project 62 detached villas, residential development
Location Greater Houston, Texas, United States
Window area 4,180 m2 across 62 units (67.4 m2 average per unit)
Door area 1,240 m2 including 62 entrance doors and 62 patio door sets
Window series 70 thermal break casement, 24 mm PA66GF25, 1.8 mm wall
Glazing 5 + 12Ar + 5 Low-E, argon 90 percent, warm-edge spacer
Tested values NFRC U-factor 0.28, SHGC 0.23, DP plus/minus 40 psf
Door set Entrance door 1.0 x 2.3 m multipoint; 4-panel lift-and-slide 4.2 x 2.6 m
Delivery schedule Four 40HQ containers over 11 weeks

Cost comparison and outcome

Cost line Local US supplier quote Rogenilan package Delta
Windows, supply only US$ 1,672,000 US$ 878,000 – 47 percent
Doors, supply only US$ 682,000 US$ 341,000 – 50 percent
Total FOB / ex-works US$ 2,354,000 US$ 1,219,000 – 48 percent
Freight, duty, drayage included US$ 268,000 + US$ 268,000
Landed total US$ 2,354,000 US$ 1,487,000 – 37 percent
Lead time 16 weeks 5 weeks build + 4 weeks sea – 7 weeks
Site rework rate n/a 1.9 percent of openings within the 3 percent allowance

The landed saving of US$ 867,000 came with two conditions the buyer had to manage: the shop drawing had to be signed off before production (a 3-week document cycle), and the site had to accept delivery against a container-by-container schedule rather than a single drop. Buyers who cannot hold those two conditions should stay with a local supplier regardless of the price gap.

9. Series-to-Series Comparison Tables

Thermal and mechanical performance matrix

Series Frame depth Strip Uw Air class Water Wind Rw
80 sliding NT 80 mm none 5.5 – 6.0 Class 3 250 Pa 1.5 kPa 28 dB

70 casement TB 70 mm 24 mm 2.0 – 2.3 Class 5 500 Pa 3.0 kPa 33 dB
80 casement HD 80 mm 24 mm 1.7 – 2.0 Class 6 600 Pa 4.0 kPa 35 dB
90 casement TG 90 mm 30 mm + foam 1.2 – 1.5 Class 6 700 Pa 5.0 kPa 36 dB

Aluminium against uPVC and timber on measurable criteria

Criterion Aluminium thermal break uPVC Engineered timber
Frame Uf 1.6 – 2.8 W/m2K 1.0 – 1.4 W/m2K 1.2 – 1.6 W/m2K
Max sash size 3.0 x 3.2 m 1.5 x 2.4 m 1.2 x 2.4 m
Sightline width 45 – 60 mm 90 – 120 mm 70 – 100 mm
Service life 40 – 50 years 25 – 30 years 30 – 60 years with maintenance
Maintenance cycle Clean and lubricate, 24 months Gasket replacement, 8 – 10 years Recoat, 3 – 5 years
Fire performance Non-combustible, A2 Melts at 180 degC Combustible
Cost per m2 (70 TB series) US$ 180 – 240 US$ 150 – 210 US$ 380 – 620

Aluminium wins on span, sightline and fire classification; uPVC wins on raw thermal value at a smaller opening; timber wins on embodied carbon but carries a recoating cycle. The decision is usually driven by the largest opening in the project rather than by the average one.

10. Procurement Checklist and Order Data
